Dear Sir/Madam
We are delighted to welcome you at the 12th TEPE International Conference on " Quality Teachers and Quality Teacher Education: Research, Policy and Practice” to be held in Cracow, Poland, 16-18 May 2019.
This scientific event brings together more than 200 experts: representatives of universities, governmental and non-governmental institutions and research, policy, teacher education professionals from all around the world. We expect it to be a great opportunity and an inspiring occasion for learning, especially leading to discussion on the elusive concept of quality teachers and quality (in) teacher education. The TEPE 2019 Conference addresses several basic questions such as: What does it take to educate high quality teachers? What can be done to create such systems where every learner can have well-trained, qualified and motivated teachers who promote inclusive and equitable quality education for all? How do working conditions for teachers influence teacher quality? What is high quality in teacher education?
The conference is organized by TEPE Scientific Network in collaboration with the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE), and the Pedagogical University in Cracow and the Chair of the Didactics and Teacher Education at the Faculty of Education University of Warsaw.
During the conference, the scientific programme consists of keynote speeches, plenary sessions, symposium presentations, conference paper presentations, and posters presentations. Papers will be presented in ten parallel groups and symposia.
In reference to the organizational details we would like to ask you to fill in the registration form on the website and choose one of the conference subthemes you are interested in.
We kindly ask you to submit your abstract at the conference by 15 February 2019 and register at the conference by 15 April 2019.
During the conference you will be provided with all the necessary materials and technical support to follow the conference sessions and give your own presentation.
The conference and all the conference social events are free of charge.
We look forward to your contribution and participation in TEPE 2019 conference and we hope that the conference will provide stimulating discussions, networking and cooperation.

The following sub-themes have been established to explore the general theme of the conference:
